The new brochures of ’t Werkhuys (literally ‘the workhouse’) in Antwerp for this season are real eyecatchers with a special design.
These A5 booklets contain practical information about ‘t Werkhuys and their programme for September-December 2017. Two recurring colours were used in a design by kabinet.studio: blue and a warm red. These two colours are used as contrasting items in a white background with black linework.
The remarkable cover with red details in a blue background was treated with a layer of matte dispersion varnish. This layer prevents the bright colours from running out when there is friction with other surfaces. The brochure was printed on offset paper and was finished with a threadless stitch.
