Op het eerste zicht schildert Nicholas William Johnson weelderige bloementaferelen. Maar de Amerikaan zit met Henri Rousseau in zijn hoofd, en diens schilderijen van exotische jungles die hij nooit met eigen ogen zag. Johnson stelt zich vragen over het mysterie van de natuur, haar exotisme en trance als een manier om een nieuw bewustzijn toe te laten.
Deze publicatie werd gecreëerd ter gelegenheid van de tentoonstelling van het werk van Nicholas William Johnson. ‘Inns of Molten Blue’ is een softcover met flappen en heeft een voorwoord door Tamara Beheydt. De cover werd gedrukt op Fuego Felt 320 gr. en werkt mooi samen met de schutvellen in Rainbow Intense Blue. Voor het binnenwerk werd gekozen voor Cocoon offset 120 gr. Publicatie in samenwerking met PLUS-ONE Gallery.
