Pluimgewicht, a collection of poetry

‘Pluimgewicht’, tension between word and image

Four artists explore the tense relationship between word and image in the illustrated poetry collection ‘Pluimgewicht’. ‘Pluimgewicht’ – literally ‘the weight of a feather’ –  was made by illustrators Charlotte Severeyns and Dieter De Schutter and writers Vincent Van Meenen and Line Pillet. They tell the tragic story of how thousands of snow geese died in Montana because of bad weather, based on true events. The result is beautiful poetry that demands to be felt.
